Building the replica of New York’s First Ship of 1614 Construction of the Onrust took place over a three year period on the grounds of the Mabee Farm Historic Site of the Schenectady Historical Society at Rotterdam Junction, NY. The Onrust was launched on May 20, 2009 into the Mohawk! Visit the Onrust at the Waterford Visitor’s Center in Waterford NY in May 2013. She is safely out of the water for the winter right now.
